I have received half a dozen calls from fellow colorists from the West Coast to the East Coast concerning a new color that is being launched. Redken has launched Chromatics.

Yes it sounds like my brand Chromastics but it is not my hair color.

There is only one letter difference between these two names. The letter “S”.

I have nothing to do with this new Redken color.

Remember what I have been saying for years:

“I will not use MEA (Ethanolamine) as a substitute for ammonia in any product I make. I think it is a terrible ingredient that generally results in longIterm damage.”

Please forward this email to anyone you believe may be confused by this new product.
